My legs were still sore this morning and at 30 minutes I wanted to bag it. Luckily I started feeling better the second half and had a good race. I guess now I have to start catching up to the likes of Mr. Flack and Sir Pirate.

Jeff

Four day break from erging due to business trip. Returned to attempt 10k.

35:51.2 a new PB (previous one set was 36:37).

Next target is 30 min (bearing in mind that on this 10k I covered 8,360 m in first 30 min so target has to be 8,450 -8,500 m ?)

Tomorrow back to training.

Neil

With your 10k and hour results, you ought to be able to knock several minutes off your HM without undue difficulty! I've never gotten within 2 minutes of your old 10k time or 500m of your 30 minute distance, but am 90 seconds faster over the HM. Do me a favor and row a faster HM so that I don't waste a bunch of effort trying to match your marks over the shorter distances, deluded by my apparent superiority at longer distances

Bill

What I need to consider is whether I can pace any faster.

The 10k was done at around 1:48 pace so HM could be possible at say 1:52/1:53 (given the 60 min was at 1:51) i.e. sub 80 mins.

I will see what I can do for you in the next few weeks.

Neil
