One of the records that Dwayne recently broke was mine (500m). I supplied C2 a video of my record attempt.
Dwayne holds the 40yo HW records for all distances other than 2000m which must have been verified according to C2 standards. Dwayne also broke the 2000m record unofficially last year, although this too was a verified time trial. These the standards and verifications set out by the governing body of the sport, therefore they must be acceptable verification. The World Record for the 2000m distance falls under a different classification, therefore it will only be a matter of when Dwayne makes an attempt on that record!

GW

Needless to say, anyone who has ever gone 500M sub-1:20 is an official "Erg Monster", regardless of other performances.

Maybe we should recruit this Dwayne fellow into the FB organization.

You are right however, he absolutely shattered it.
"On paper" he is definitely in a class of his own in our division at the moment. However as you know "under the gun" it will be interesting to see if he can maintain his pace with out being influenced by the competition, i know Andreas will be apply some pressure.
As far as FB status, he may not of reached his peak yet! As you previously described him in the same sentence as Lance Armstrong, i think that would predicate him as inelligable at the moment!!

FB

Perhaps a minimum waistline should be established. I'm pretty sure that I will never see the smaller side of 36 again, though around the rump might open the opportunity for those that may not be able to quite make the grade at the beltline, since that allows opportunity for gluteal maximization.

I see the need now to begin a list of FB Rules.

FB2

My middle class tax paying, redneck, white haired, blue collar world is not polite. In our little social structure - Chad has made a threat challenging Dwanye's honor. Challenges can only be met with challenges. Chad race Dwanye or stfu and take a seat.

Oh h***, we do have some people on this board who seem to miss the point I have been making.
I would suggest that some of you go back to the very start of it and read it slowly and very carefully again.

I have not made any threats at all.

I am more than willing to race Dwayne over 2000m. I would pass on a challenge to him but going on his past record he will not accept it (see the post regarding Andreas Van Tonder).
Any challenge that requires Dwayne showing up at a race will not be taking up by him. Dwayne will however take on any on-line challenge, why? You tell me?

I see Dwayne has visited this thread, but has avoided answering any my questions. Is this because he feels he has nothing to answer? or that he does not want to incriminate himself?

Let’s starts with 2 easy questions for Dwayne-
1. Have you ever used your own or any other PM3 for verifying a row?
2. Have you ever been in an Erg race competition and rowed a 2000m in less than 7 minutes?
I did a search for a number of rowers who claim they have rowed under 5.50 for a 2000m.

Pavel Shurmei, George Bridgewater, Graham Benton, Jamie Schroeder & Dwayne Adams.

I found written documentation confirming these claims for 4 out of these 5 rowers. Only one of them came up with nothing. Nothing as in No Proof, no INV_D, nothing!!

Do you know which one it was?
