Training
Finally make a pb for the 10K i.e. 38:23. Most rewarding of this was that it was done easily. Altough I dont use a HRM, never feel really strained.

Was not happy this afternoon with my EIRC performance in Amsterdam. 7:18.8 and 2.5 seconds above my recent PB.<br><br>So I did a fairly strong 10K at home a couple of hours later: 40:17. 3 sec above PB pace. <br><br>Just to wash away the mild frustration...<br><br> I will race again next year. <br><br><br>Tom<br>

I attempted my very first half marathon this morning and was delighted with 1:34:17.7. Not fast but after 3 months I'm very pleased. Hope to do another couple before the year end and maybe a marathon attempt sometimes in January if I'm still alive !!! <br><br>Warnie

10K recovery rowing at 1:58.0 24 s/m and average HR of 137.<br>Tomorrow, I might skip rowing since I have double 2-hours swim workouts with the Varsity Swim Team (will swim about 12K)!

5x1000m with 1:30 active recovery for me today. Aim was to get all sub 1:42 pace and 1:30 rest at 2:10 pace <br><br>Average for 5x1000m was 1:41.7 at 30spm with Av HR of 160. Got stronger as the session went on, which was good news <br><br>Sir Pirate
