Chrissy,<br><br>Could you give a few more details of your experiment? It's been asked many times that someone do that, but I have not heard of anyone acually doing it. Many of us of course do it on the way to losing "useless mass", but there is also a training effect that clouds those results.<br><br>Good on you for being nutty enough to use a weight jacket for a personal test.

Physicist,<br><br>What about trying to control some factors in the chaotic system? Weight is just one of them. So, I don't see what is the point of discussing this issue as if it was a matter of "frustration" for somebody!<br><br>Believe me, I am just trying to understand how to improve performance on water, so - don't get emotional.<br><br>AM

Here is a control factor, I'm now faster at 5k, 6k and 30mins since I lost 10 kilos, so I'm faster the lighter I get. nice.
