I thank the big guy everyday that I have the lack of resposibility to be able to fit 4 hrs every day to working out. I would be over doing it if I didn't schedule like a madman. No room for anything else besides work and working out. But all those other things are for old people anyway. So my weekly hrs devoted to workouts is 28 around 120-130k a week

Sir Pirate and Fesse-a-l’os, it was nice to meet you at the Chat room. I’ve been lurking at this forum for a few days now. I just ordered a C2. I haven’t erged for years. I am not looking forward to seeing how much I have deteriorated over the past 10 years.

To answer the question, I am averaging between 20 and 25 hours a week “exercising.” The most time is rowing on wheels, and the rest is cycling (Windcheetah, Catrike.) However, much of that time I am just outdoors rolling along enjoying myself and not in the target work zone. I’m retired so I have plenty of time to do whatever I want.

There was a previous discussion on the Scott Olson rowbike. You don’t just hop on those things and ride them. It took me three evenings in a parking lot to get the hang of it. Once I felt under control, I really liked it.

Most of my outdoor rowing is on my Irish Mail:

http://www.math.msu.edu/~drachman/cycle ...

If you visited that website, you can see that my older brother is even nuttier than I am about rowing on wheels. By the way, I know I should have held my back straighter when I was taking a mighty pull.

Anyway, this is a great website with lots of good information, and I am really anxious for the C2 to arrive.

Byron
