So "recreational rower" is what you'd see first when a boat is coming towards you.

It's different with the erg, since we mostly have the fan at the front. (Which is technically back to front.)
I've gotten a lot of compliments on the nice shirt. I've had it for a while and it is holding up nicely. I think it's good to wear bright colors on the river. Anyway, if I can't be the fastest rower, at least I can be the best dressed rower in the club. Of course, you can't hope to look as youthful, handsome, and powerfully built as I am (heh, heh), but you can look your best:

Byron

I have much respect for this sport. I spent five weekends tipping before I got under way. Week after week my pals at work, Did you row? No, I swam. I would reply, I can't give up. Then I got the whole thing figured out when I set up the boat for me and relaxed. That a thrill it is to glide on the water! We laughed so hard because after a season of erging I thought that rowing would come instantly to me. Later, I was talking to MJ, my wife, while we were at the lake. I said to her, Xeno should make a shirt that says "tipping optional, not required" What do you think?

Just in case you missed them, did you ever see the photos Xeno posted of boats flipping?

http://concept2.ipbhost.com/index.php?s ... 310

Byron
