What Training Have You Done Today???

Training
I rowed on the water for the first time in a LONG time!!<br>It was wobbly and uncomfortable (the boat, a lwt pair, was too small), but I loved it!!!<br>Back on the erg later.<br><br>I will be in London , UK, at the end of this month.<br>Does anyone know of a place in South Kensington where I can erg without a long lasting membership?<br><br>Thanks,<br>chickenlegs

I wonder: did you do this sub 40 with S10PS too? If yes, I am impressed even more and I know you can go faster.<br><br>No PB attempts for me: training seriously now for European Open 2K. Training
Starting to build on things now we are closer to the start of the season in the U.K. I am doing more distance work now, just short of 90K in 7 days (thats a lot for a lazy person like me)<br><br>Another 12000m today of various intervals. Put in a 2K at a target pace of 1:40. loads left for the last 500m, well under target. Shall have a all out effort in a month or so.<br><br>Sir Pirate<br>

Been nursing a sore lower back lately but it seems to be getting better.

It was "Pirates Training Camp" day today. Me, Roy Brook, Graham Todd and a new boy named Alistair got together for a session.<br><br>Roy & Toddy did HM both Pb'ing, Alistair did a 2K pb of 7:12 I think.<br><br>I did a 5K at 1:42.8 (17:07.7) then a 6:40.0 (1:40.0) 2K. It's great to try for a pb when you have friends shouting at you, It helped me to knock 90.2 seconds off my 1/2M pb, from 81.08.8 to 79.38.6.<br><br>nicely tired now

Time for some of those horrible intervals for me <br><br>Very pleased with my 6x500m today as it was the fastes I have ever done them and did not struggle on any of them. Could of done 2 more but did not want to take the change of any of them going over 1:35. <br>2:30 inactive & 1 min active recovery. <br><br>1st - 1:34.8 <br>2nd - 1:34.7 <br>3rd - 1:34.7 <br>4th - 1:34.5 <br>5th - 1:34.3 <br>6th - 1:33.5 <br><br>Sir Pirate <br>
