Hurrah, After a half-marathon today I have both finished the holiday challenge and reached my first 2 million metres. Yay for me. Now I need to think what present I want from C2 Santa. Jasmine

I finished the holiday challenge today. I've erged every day since I got my C2 at the beginning of last month. I need a day or two off or else a day or two of recovery rows. That will be a bigger challenge, seeing that I might have a little problem with compulsive behavior. But nobody else is like that, right? Byron

Yay Jasmine! & good to hear from you, too--"the silent Meter Maid" quietly adding km after km to the Taffy Bank! Congratulations on your double whammy! Congratulations on finishing your Challenge early, also, Bryon, and Niall (by the time you read this you will have done that last 700m for sure!) Now, what will I send Debra? hmmm, hmmm, hmmm..... Carla If it's nice I might get one for myself!

Well done Taff Attack! Everyone seems to be completing the holiday challege or progessing nicely. Let's get MIT now! Hope the second 28k went well, Niall. I did 25k on Saturday which was the furthest I've done in one go and the thought of doing the same again the next day would have been pretty daunting! New PB today- 30 minutes again, added 1m last time and 4m more today! 8043m now!

I was going to try for a sub 7 2K next gym visit to be the first to go 'subsonic' (and ward off a 7:02.9 breathing down my neck) but that 3 metres - very tempting !!! Now if my initials were JS I could probably do both Well done to all the Taffs that have or are about to achieve the 200K target, esp. Jasmine who is supposed to fit in her Marine Biology doctorate somewhere ! That 2nd spot on the team ladder is proving a tough to crack Daren ?! Anyone apart from Godfried and Carole Mac (did you read that National Geographic article on the 'Top End Big Wet' by the way) going to EIRC ? Martin

Nice to hear from you. =) I was looking to catch you for the season, but I have less time than I did have at the moment, and you've been pulling away again lately so I've given up. Keep it up!

Taffians, I bring you woefull news You Taffs are going to have to get your fingers out I feel. Team Oarsome are taking more members on day by day. They are going to start pulling further away from you in the team standings. I feel another big push from you guys and girls is needed. If I was not MAD I would be Taff and give you my vast milage to help you crush the might of Team Awfull (Oarsome). Press realease from the Bat Cave,following a visit from Bore Da and Chippy (the Taffia quality control inspectors) 4 new P.B's are soon to be announced.Suffice to say Blod and Ramboyo are in extremely good spirits Nos da Taffians. P.S. pink really suits you boys!!!!

I am down 27lbs since July. As for birthday meters I did the 49K in three rows, and as for when I am eighty I will do 80K in 40 or more rows but If I am alive I think I shall do it. Mike
