Welcome Rob!

My half marathon was a rowpro one. I do all of my rowing on rowpro, a great program. I don't know how to do it, I am sure we can ask, but if you guys want to share rows, let me know. My PBs are down at the bottom of the note. I will row tomorrow to add some more. I could not get up for it after work on today.

Darren

It's not a big thing I realize, especially compared to the amount of work you are doing plotting our progress (and especially since yours truly has yet to contribute a meter to our cause), but duplicating entries of any kind is something I like to avoid.

Keep up the good work,
Mark

This definitely gets around it, since all you have to do is right click on your row and export it to the concept2 log book.

Other possibilities are me listing you as a training partner and then I can see your log book, but of course others members of the forum will not be able to see your row here.

We are almost to the ferry ramp, and then on to the next segment, Vancouver to Hope. Keep those kilometers coming!

Jim

You are absolutely right Mark, "Canada Goose" aka Shannon, should join us. But I don't think she will, I'll remind her about hunting season. Maybe that will bring her around By the way, we do well together in a double kayak, but since neither of us has been in any kind of rowing shell, maybe all h*** would happen . But it would be interesting .
I don't have row pro yet (come on Santa!) so as far as avoiding doubling typing it wouldn't work for me yet, but I don't mind typing twice. Training partners would be fun too, although isn't there a limit on the number of partners you can have?

I have a question, how does the training partner thing work? As well, so far today I have done a 2K, I am doing a 30 minute later today, is listed in rowpro for an online race if any takers? I will break 1 million meters today (my first million, unless of course I fall apart in the race)

Darren

I must say that I love your idea and your website.
The idea makes it a lof of fun, it is similar to C2s 'Voyage to Terra Vitae' and 'Tour of Lake Champlain', but makes it a team event that is connected with your particular team.
The web site makes it easy and fun to see where you are, who's doing what, etc.
Have a great time, with lots of good exercise, learning and fun.

Sincerely,
David
16 kilometers for me today. I'm trying to slowly catch my wife. She's got about a 150,000 lead on me (hopefully she won't read this ) She is pretty competative Darren, I asked my wife how you go about getting a training partner (she's gone through the process twice.) She said that there is a place under your profile for adding on a training partner. In that space you put in the ranking ID number of the person you want to be partners with. Your future training partner has to do the same thing with your ranking ID number. So before all of that you have to ask someone to be your partner then exchange ID numbers. She said that one way she did it was for both people to post their numbers. The other way was for one member to post their e-mail and the numbers can then be exchanged through e-mail. Now if that makes sense then I'm a hoser . If it doesn't make sense (likely) then maybe someone else can jump in who may be more literate than me. Hope that helps .

My contribution for today (27th September) is 10K.

I always do a 1K warm-up but don't count this in my 10Km timed piece that I record in my personal log. Therefore, I don't suppose we should record it against the total. Thoughts?

Next scheduled row is Thursday (29th) as I'm planning to run tomorrow.

Cheers,

Rob
