I have had a dynaband/elastic strip for the past ten years, my father first came across these when working in the physio department for the Welsh Rugby Union back in the mid 90's, it was mainly used for body and muscle conditioning/rehabilitation helping players who suffered injuries get back into shape.

I have also used these in my beginners circuit classes and they are a great addition to any fitness set-up.

At this present moment of time mine is safely folded up in the cabinet draw downstairs, not taking up any clobber!!!

Regards.
Ged.

Blader, I have the exact same injury as you. Tib/fib fracture, skiing injury, left leg for me. I'm assuming you have a cast...? I had surgery, and 5 weeks after I broke them, I'm walking with crutches and half my weight on the leg. Do as much upper body workouts as you can- you can use free weights, or do push-ups. Any abs that you can do are wonderful, as well, and I bet if you can hold a boat post (aka v-sit) with your cast, that'll give your abs a wonderful workout! Take a few weeks off, but don't feel that just because you have a cast you can't leave the house to do anything.

Carole, how do you keep your form with one leg? Neither my coach or my doctor want me ergging with just my right leg, both for the same reason: it will mess up my form. For now, my doctor doesn't want me ergging full stroke, so I'm just doing arms and back only.
