I like my erg outside in winter.
I'm concerned about the rubber parts that retract the chain - and may be the rolls underneath the seat. How low can the temp be before anything bad happens?
Thanks -
Boris

Boris,
I've rowed my machine at reduced temperatures. At first the chain would not retract very quickly and the chain skipped if I pulled too hard, but after a few minutes these symptoms abated enough to allow me to row normally. The bungee will not be damaged by exposure to the cold, nor will the seat rollers.
Damage can occur to the LCD in the monitor if it is operated below 32F or stored below -4F. JonW

Prefer 65F or higher.
