Shutting Down

I went to use my Model D this morning, and everything on it worked fine, until I went to create a new workout, a 250m sprint. As soon as I pressed that button from the main menue, the erg shut down, and began to restart. I let it go through with restarting, and it still had the same problem. Everything else seemed to be fine (that I noticed), except that all the memory was erased. Any ideas what this could be/how I can fix it?
