I just bought a model C after using one at a gym for several months. The beam on which the slide sits is angled down a couple of degrees (I checked the floor and that's level!). Does it matter? Is it supposed to slide at that 1 or 2 degrees? The manual doesn't say anything about it one way or the other and it feels fine but I don't want to find out in 500,000 meters that I should have done something.

Has anyone else run across this or should I just put my carpenter's level away?

Thanks.
If your floor is level and the seat coasts to the Footplate on it's own, you're in business.

1" in 4ft is pretty close to what you woul dbe seeing on a line level.

Erg on!
