Let's say you do all of your rowing in the morning, and you want to add resistance training but aren't sure when the best time for this would be, and to not detract from your rowing.

How would you work this resistance training into your program?

This resistance training can include jumping rope, sit ups or V ups, press ups, pull ups, and/or weights.

Training

I do strengt training (weights) 3 times, on an average, a week. Not to gain strenght but to keep it steady. esspeciali the mussles not so much involved in rowing need some work. shoulders/chest/triceps/hamstrings/abs.
I do them only once a week/musclegroup. Fairly heavy 70/85% of max/ 8/13 reps.

I do them on days I don,t row much, most off the time weight before rowing and the rowing that day 20 min. rate 24 pace 1.50/52

To train hard enough I think you have to be fresh so firts a row training and then weight don't work. You not fresh anymore and that will hinder you.
Furthermore you have to perioderice your strenghtraining. If you really need to gain strenght you need to focus on it during some time during the off season. During the season try to maintain you strenght, don't overdo it then.
