Hello everyone, next month myself and my friend are trying to row the length of England on an indoor rowing machine which roughly translates to 16,500 metres daily. I can cope with the distance fine, however I was wondering if I could sustain this for a whole month. Basically I was wondering if anyone has done this sort of thing before and what advice can be given?

Adam

Good luck in your effort, however 16.5K a day is not that much of a deal if you have the time and the commitment. Even easier if broken into 2 sessions

Is it just England you are rowing or the British mainland i.e LEJOG (Lands End to John O'Groats) which is just over 800 miles. I am guessing England is about 500 miles long

16.5*28=462K which * 0.62 = 286 miles so I am guessing you are doing 16.5K each per day.

Which way are you going? I belive most of the record attempts are uphill from Lands End with the prevailing wind behind.
