I've had the PM3 monitor since last fall and have noticed that in the "just row" mode, the monitor automatically records splits every 10 minutes. For my last 3-4 rows, however, it hasn't kept any splits in the "just row" mode, just one overall "split" that is the same as my overall time. Did I accidentally deactivate something? Any ideas?
(I'm not talking about the timed rows in which the splits can be pre-programmed)

Kevin

On mine the "Just Row" feature keeps splits of varying lengths depending on how long you erg. Under 30 minutes the splits are every 5 min. Up to an hour they're every 10. Over an hour, they go to 20 min. Not sure what happens after 2 hours. Also didn't think you could change them, so don't know how yours would always be 10 minutes or how you could "deactivate something."

Never had a split exactly as long as I erged unless it was a piece less than 5 minutes.

My PM3 monitor also kept splits automatically also until the last 3-4 rows, all of which were over 30 minutes in duration. Now the split time is the same as the overall time. I must have done something on the monitor. Any tips would be helpful. I'll contact C2 as well. Thanks.

Kevin

Kevin,

Can't help you man. However, if C2 gives you a way to reprogram the splits in the Just Row choice, let me know, because I'd like to change them.

Good luck.

Concept2 just discovered this "feature" recently. There are certain conditions upon which a PM3 will stop recording splits. Although it will clear internal memory (not your LogCard!) you can fix it by resetting your PM3. To do this, press a thick paperclip in hole in the back, or remove the batteries and press a few buttons, then reinstall the batteries. This will clear up the problem.

Now, stay tuned for an announcement of a new software release that will fix this issue permanently.

-- Scott
