You are more likely to find one there. You could also join a local rowing club in Perth and use that membership to get reciprical access to rowing clubs gyms when you are on the road.

GW

Hello,

If you are in Melbourne CBD there are a heap of rowing clubs on the far bank of the Yarra River approx 10-20 Minutes walk from CBD.

They are bound to have some ergs

From CBD

1 Get to Flinders Street Rlwy station
2 Cross the bridge over the river - I think you can see the rowing clubs from the bridge
3 Turn left and walk along the bank for a bit

Roland is a Melbournian he might have some more ideas.

Also search Google for Rowing Clubs and Melbourne

Suggestion - Arrange your workload so that you can be in Melbourne for the Aussie C2 Erg titles in October.

Bill

While your in Adelaide go to the on water rowing area at Westlakes and walk into one of the clubs and ask to use their erg. In Sydney I've used an erg at Novotel at Darling Harbour so I'm certain they have one. And while in Melbourne you can send me an email so I can arrange you to use one of Power House rowing club's ergs. Anything else is likely to cost you money and a bit of bother.

Roland Baltutis
