Generate Folvering Workouts

I have developed some software that will create all of the Wolverine plan workouts (currently as Erg Monitor files) but I will look at RowPro if there is enough interest - you enter your 2k time, and it does the rest, creating all of the different workouts, easy to then change your 2k PB time & regenerate...

I would like to know if anyone is interested in using this, and whether for RowPro or ErgMon.

Chris

A combination of Fartleking and Wolverine?

Sounds like a handy application to me, Something that the Michigan rowers could certainly put to use.

The Excel version appears to work well. You can download it here. Many thanks to GalleySlave.

I will sort out the RowPro version shortly and post it.

It currently provides htm report of the sessions (easier to read than the excel spreadsheet) and ErgMon workoug files.

anyone know how I can change the title of this thread? My spelling went haywire!

Chris

Do I need to register somewhere?

Galleyslave

Thanks for sharing the excel file!

Just one question - is this endorsed by Wolverine Plan author Mike Caviston? I ask, only to confirm that the output paces etc. all conform to MC's suggested specifications (ie I am NOT tryting to ruffle any feathers etc.) Or to put it another way, are you certain that the integrity of the conversion to output times is accurate?

Cheers
RichardT

The .Net generator for RowPro workouts is now available at
www.galleys.org\rowing it is the first released version, so still a bit clunky, no sexy graphics etc... please read caveat before using it. Feedback would be most welcome.

Chris

Hi Chris:

I have downloaded and installed the .net generator and it has generated the training plans with no crashes, but........ the paces of work and rest are switched. For example W L 2 L 5x1500 has working period of 1500m @2:22 and rest of 1125 m @ 1:52.

Apart of this everything seems to work ok

Thank you very much and congratulations for your work!!!
