I followed the 80 0000m program quit closely near the end ,cycle 5 and 6, I didn't make the target KM because of time constrants. May target pace was 2:11 and I was not to far off on race day. For the marathon you need to work on the longer rows (most important) if you are currently racing the 2000m you may want to wait untill the end of the season before training for the marathon its more of an arobic than a anarobic workout witch you are training for now. you should talk to your coatch. any way good luck.

One of my goals this summer also is to bike a century. I've wanted to do this for years and I think I'll do it this summer. I can already see how rowing has improved my capacities on the bike--today I found that this one dreaded hill that's on the way home from most of my bike rides was really a breeze--9--10 mph on it instead of 7--8! Gotta love the C2!

Are you going to do your 100 miler on your own, with a group, or on one of those supported charity rides?
