Training
I've been doing lots of low spm, restricted hr stuff for a while now and because I've been increasing the distance every day I've no idea if I'm moving forward with this type of training. I'm doing this session Mon-Fri, as well as rowing on the water Wed, Thurs, Sat & Sun.

Last nights session was 12,000m @ 1:57.3 at a very strict 18spm and a max heart rate of 160bpm.

It hurts from about 6k to go, my back, my hamstrings!!!!

Could the experts amongst us give me an idea if this is good training and what the session last night indicates as a 2k, 5k or 10k would be possible in.

Cheers in advance

Lee
HR at n% is calculated as:

HR = RHR + ((MaxHR - RHR) x n%)

So for example, if you have rhr of 60 and max of 204 then 160bpm is 69.4%
