You're clearly a small-minded attention seeker. Is this just the way you get your kicks? Either way, I very much doubt anyone's even slightly impressed.

Pardon me but my expertise is extremely valuable.

I was giving you a warning about the TROLL Citroen as he was posting here and it was good to inform you of his risque behavior.

Apparently you don't appreciate my letting you know, but then maybe he's a friend of yours which would explain your emotions.

In behavioral psychology this type of behavior is called "negative reinforcement." They say the way to "extinguish" the behavior is to ignore it. Others have suggested this, it's worth a try!

Ok, Taffs!
Let's just all do "ignore user" here. I don't think we should allow this to destroy our teamwork. How about it?

I gave the 6K another shot but it was no good. I blew out at 1K to go, just couldn't keep going at that pace. The mistake I made was to get intrigued by the pace boat function on my new PM3. I set it for 1:58.0, just .3 faster than my last one. The problem was, the pace boat toots along at exactly the average you set, so it destroyed my plan of trying to negative split it. I couldn't stand letting the boat get ahead at the beginning. Last time I had been at 1:59.4, just creeping down as I got closer to the end, and did a big kick in the last 500 to bring it down to 1:58.3, but this time I was trying to maintain that pace and it was too fast too early. Theoretically it's supposed to be easier on you to just hold a pace but it sure didn't feel like it. Maybe psychological but right when I should have been hanging on and then sprinting I just couldn't make myself hurt that bad and ended up paddling in.

As soon as I've posted this I'm going to go check out the "ignore user" function for the first time--I hope everyone else opts for this, too, so we can carry on without all this assinine, crude, time wasting blather.

One of the great points of RowPro is that it allows one to row against a previous row of your own, or to download other people's rows and row against them. For my row today, I set it up to row against my previous row from 2 weeks or so ago. The advantage of this is that it doesn't shoot off at an average pace, but rows along with varying pace, shadowing how one rowed in that piece. All I had to do was keep my nose ahead.

Worked a treat, and I knocked off another 29 seconds or so. I'll tell you what, though. I'm glad it's the last one I "have" to do for a while. =)
