Sorry Eh!Team, but I have to take a break from rowing. I've joined the ranks of the "back injured. Hopefully I won't be sidelined for too long.

Carol

La Belle Provence at Last, eh!

We finally made it to Quebec hosers, great rowin'. Just to recap we made it into Ontario on November 14. The total distance for the Eh!Team was 2550 kilometers. We made it into Quebec on Dec 13 at a total distance of 4682.5. So that was 2132 kilometers across Ontario. That was our longest stretch to date, but will be nothing compared to the Eh!Team round the world tour.

We are now cruising through the beautiful City of Montreal. I think we should take our boat in the parade down Crescent street for a nice relaxing evening. It would look great in among all the Ferrari's. For those of you who do not know what Crescent Street is, please go to Montreal. One of my favourite cities. I was last there in June and had a great time.

Great rowin' hosers,

Jim

December 15th - 18.6 K - 1:08:50 - 1:52 splits.

Spent five years in Montreal, learned to row there.
Ile Notre Dame (I did not know that there was such a thing as the gay and lesbian rowing federation, but then you learn something new everyday.)

Cheers,

Brian

Dec. 15: 13k on the erg ( 4x1k Level 1 @ 1:42.5 average pace).

I have also spent 5 years in Montreal when I was a student at McGill University. It is a nice city, but at the time, I didn't have enough money to fully enjoy it.

Ottawa is not bad either!

Cheers,

Francois

13k for me today - Dec 15. I am actually starting to put a little effort into the push off, but I back off as soon as I feel anything in the back.

The Eh!Team continues to grow. This augurs well for rowing 'round the world, eh?

Please welcome Trevor Reeves from Dawson Creek, BC and Daryl Muz from Edmonton.

Keep on rowin', hosers.

Jim

Welcome aboard Trevor and Daryl. I was in both of your towns last March. I flew down to Edmonton, bought a Smart Car and drove through Dawson Creek on the way back up to Whitehorse. It was a fun drive, especially north of you, going through Stone Mountain National Park (lots of wildlife and good views.)

17k today including 2 x 1000 @ 1:58 pace 21s/m.
