I haven't used the wolverine plan Bill, but there are some really deadly workouts in the "Pete's Plan." If you are interested, let me know and I'll see if I can find some of the info. on it. I did a total of 14 k today, 5.5 easy in the a.m. and 8.5 just now. I didn't want to go too hard but wanted to get some speed work in so I went at a 1:58 pace for 200 meters within every 1000 meters (7 pick-ups in all.)

Consider this a friendly wave in the distance as you pass north of my old hometown in northeastern Montana (more or less due south of Moose Jaw) -- eh. By the way, the dog on the left in my avatar is a fellow citizen of yours (born near Kirkland Lake, Ontario), so between sleeping and eating, he cheers for you.

A mere 0.5k for me today. I am afraid I have a sore back and leg that seems to preclude rowing at the present. (It actually stops just about everything, eh!)

Don't worry though hosers, I will keep posting your kliks and be back in the saddle as soon as I can.

Jim

Way to row, hosers.

We are into Manitoba, eh.
3 provinces, 7 more to go. (Only 6 if we sail past PEI).
Ontario will be the big one, although Saskatchewan was certainly a long pull.

My back is still hurtin', big time, so I will throw Little Linda on the erg and get her to pull some kliks for us.

Jim

Hey hosers, I am back..... Sorry Darren, I was confused. I thought you were trying to say your mom was down here! I was actually away for work. I love working weekends!

Well, enough already. After a long weekend of night time beer drinking I managed 7500 meters today. Not much, but it's the thought that counts!

When we get to ontario ( especially ottawa - since it's near my home, the beer is on me!)

Bill
