If it were done at test intensity, though this seems unlikely based on his thoughts that he will be "smashing" his own (Artemis) record shortly, it would be possible to estimate some sort of equivalency based on his C2 2k. Refer to "Paul's Law" if you have any questions about that.

Don't you ever tire of being foolish?

Why does John have so much anger? I am new here but sense a lot of anger. Jealousy? Inadequate? You be the judge.

D

Here is a picture the machine for Sir Pirate's world record bid of 4:36.0.

As you can see, it is more like the model B, C, and D, than is the bicycle type of machine that Paul Smith reports to have done his 5:36.8 on, with playing cards attached to the wheels.

Regardless, I think both of these should be submitted to gain current WORLD RECORD status.

The Model A has a direct relationship to the future C2's whereas other manufacturers machines, and associated output, do not. This has been discussed already, so no need to re-do it.

Cheers.

I found this picture, which looks a bit like the model A that Paul Smith used for his World Record bid of 5:36.8.

Can you see the resemblance?

I'm not sure if it's the same machine, but it sure does look similar and, yes, I can certainly see the direct relationship to output from future machines.

Why is this sort of silliness so hard to resist? Now, of course, I can hardly stop myself from going back and finding out what I missed on pages 5--7.

I think it's because it's more fun to read this than it is to do all the things I'm putting off, like cleaning the shower, doing laundry, scooping the cat box, and doing the dishes. What are you all supposed to be doing?
