My fiancee torn his intercostal mucsle on the right side please give insite how to help me make him feel better! He is in so much pain...<br /> Is there any thing that helps? Ice? Ice.<br /><br />Never use heat on an injury.<br /><br />If he needs to cough, have him hold that arm firm against his chest.<br /><br />This helps to reduce the impact and pain.<br /><br />Did he get this from the erg?
