I row at home on my used (modified with D parts) Model C. I'm thinking seriously of stepping up to the D. It's a catch 22-working more on the computer to make the money to buy the exercise machine I need becaus I'm sitting at the computer too much.

Grams

It's sitting in a place of honor in front of my TV.

My Model C (with a D handle) and I have our encounters in our rec room--which has a great view out over the mountains to the west. Kudos to those who have to trek to their gyms to row--that's an extra measure of dedication.

Terry

Whats a gym????

Mines in the bedroom, under the fan which makes morning rows a bit of a problem during the working week as Dick doesn't take to kindly to being woken before he has to be.

Weekends are good coz can open up the windows and doors, look out to the hills and watch the birds in the trees outside the window (Can't see the river (it's an Aussie river don;t get excited - small have empty stream really) for the trees). Makes a change from rubbish on the TV at nights.

I row at the gym, across the road from work, 3 times a week. I would like to have an erg at home and the space to put somewhere. I think I would row every morning if I had my own erg.

Monkey, this 19 yrold parents are putting the pressure on him to leave! I've only been back from uni for a week! Now that I'm back though the Model C has moved out of the garage and is in the middle of the living room floor, something they're not too happy about!!
