Glad to be of service!

I'm sure I can do better than that though. I just wanted to get something on the board. I'll have another crack at it next week.

That piece also took me over my first million metres.

Excellent job, Jenny, on both the 30@20 and the 1,000,000--isn't that wierd to see that many zeros and realize how many hours of sweat and groaning are represented therein?

Good on ya, Beth

As an original BIRC 2001 Flyer I thought I really should make the effort and try the 30minR20 session. It was the first time I have ever done more than 10mins at R20 so a total unknown and I managed 8043m.

Sorry Parky but I have pushed you down to FF2

If I get chance before Feb. I will try again now that I have a better idea of pacing.

Well done, Nigel.

This means I now have company in the 3d boat, as you have unseated Capt Green from boat 2 and sent him to join me.

We need a couple of more hands in the boat, but more important, perhaps you can also send a fast lady to join us.

Tom

Hey guys--talked to my friend Tracy, and she may be up for the challenge--she's got a lot going on right now, but could help us beginning next month if we don't find someone before then. (She's just behind me in the quad in my pic.)

Beth

Come on board folks, we still have places on board for crew members, male female, old, young, we take on allcomers. Our number one boat is 12th, number 2 now at 19, and number 3 is at number 27. We only have 2 members in boat 3, come and help out Tom R and myself in this boat, its darn hard work racing as a double against these other 5 strong crews, especially for 2 elderley gents !!

Drop me a message at stgreen AT ntlworld DOT com

Steve

Hi, Flyers!
Rick Bayko gets the recruitment bounty - I joined yesterday & took a crack at the 30min@20 this morning. Posted the result (7107) but will definitely give that one another shot, as my split was a several seconds better in the last 5 min than in the first 10 min. Rowing a test at 5:30am is never one's best! (Sigh, am I awake?)

Thanks to Rick bringing up the challenge, & to Darren & Steve G. for doing the registration.
Hi to Mike McGuirk, too! Will see many of you at the CRASH-B's.
Mary P.
49, 55.8kg (ltwt)
