I'm at 121,516. Talk about procrastination. I still plan on hitting the 200k.

On Thursday 12/22 I made it to 200K. I am planning on continuing the 200K pace through the next 6 months to help with weight management. I always have enjoyed the HC and again enjoyed it this year. The goal of 200K is challenging yet still achievible by most trying to manage work schedules and other commitments. Congratulations to everyone who participated this year!

Happy Holidays!

I have digital pictures, but can't figure out how to upload them here. If someone can help me, I can post them. If not, send me an e-mail to the address in my signature and I'll respond with the pics attached. It's a nice piece of apparel ... a bit different in style than most "hoodies".

Cheers & Merry Christmas!

-- Mark

I planned on doing the 200K, but after getting an infection after my wisdom teeth were removed, I was sidelined. I"m doing the final piece today and finishing with 162,000 some odd meters. At least I can still get the pin from the kids challenge.

I completed the holiday challenge today with 1,250,524 meters, with the first million in 19 days.

The total just happened to come out to another 1/4 million but it wasn't planned that way.

I might not do that much again, with getting older and all, so it was nice to get under the 20 days for the million.

A couple of kilometro posts (metric for milestones) for today. I completed the HC with over 50% to spare, 310,430m. (It helps to be too old for anybody to want to hire me. That gives me a little time to indulge in these obsessions.)

In doing so, I completed my second week on the simplified Pete Plan and actually got the suggested PB on the 10K: 44:22.3, knocking 23.2 seconds off my previous time.

regards,

Bob S.
