Here in the middle of Brazil, it worked perfectly for me. I did not watch all day but did catch most of the morning races and the master's and senior's events. Thanks for the broadcast. Well worth your hardwork. Give an honorary hammer to C2Bill

Despite the web congestion the live broadcast was still very exciting. The replays that are up work flawlessly - many thanks!!

The replay is not working.

Where do you find and/or download the individual races?

Great large picture on the replay.

No sound. Hopefully will get that later.

Says windows folks can right click on "file", wherever that is, to select event. Don't see a "file" but right clicking on display gives a menu including "file markers". Selecting that brings up a window with a selection of some, but not all events. So far so good, but clicking on any of the events does ... nothing. Basically stuck viewing it all as one file.

only recommended for fast broadband/cable connections....(391MB download).

Try a right click on the race URL that is on the web page http://rowing.concept2.com/sranking03/w ... htm

then choose 'save as' - you can then download the entire file, and 'search' manually - the file markers did not work for me either unfortunately.

RichardT

I only get as far as downloading approx 60% then the download stops (Have tried twice - same result).

Anyone know how to download it - is iit available for download????????

RichardT

i'm having the same problems - i'll talk to our webcast vendor about getting a different file set up. there shouldn't be a problem getting the whole file - just a size issue.

one suggestion is to open the URL from the windows media player - maybe that will help?

stay tuned...

-bill

QUOTE(R S T @ Feb 14 2005, 05:43 AM)

QUOTE(R S T @ Feb 14 2005, 08:47 AM)

only recommended for fast broadband/cable connections....(391MB download).

Try a right click on the race URL that is on the web page http://rowing.concept2.com/sranking03/w ... htm

then choose 'save as' - you can then download the entire file, and 'search' manually - the file markers did not work for me either unfortunately.

RichardT

mmmmm....actually, I spoke too soon. You did a grand job on the Webcast Bill. Ok, it went a bit tits up in the last hour, but hey, it was free.

I was very impressed with the way the event ran on time. I also noticed that they used the USB rather that the "wireless" version. I also noticed changes to the e-row software.

I hope to go next year

Sir Pirate

the webcast replay is now (in theory) up - we chunked the webcast into smaller pieces -each of which can be downloaded separately.

This should allow users with slower connections to just download the segment they want to watch.

Please post 'finds' if you choose to download a segment - as this will allow other users to view particularly good races or interviews.

thanks for watching.

-bill
