I personnaly like the university standings and keep an eye on them, just an extra bit of spice to keep the m's ticking over. What has happended to the flyers, 6th place!!!!!, not that we don't like a bit of competion but have to say these Ancient Mariners are looking unstoppable.

Just wondering though if total m's is the best way to measure and thought that an average m's column would be an idea. Based on this morning on total m's its 1)Mariners, 2) Rowpro 3)Oarsome, 4) Supercanoa, 5)MIT, 6) Flyers. Based on the average per member it would be 1) Mariners, 2) Oarsome, 3) Queens, 4) Flyers, etc etc. Ok i've only looked at the current top 10, so there may be teams below that would make the top 10.

What do you reckon?

Whichever, if your reading this and haven't affiliated, I'm biased so sign for the Flyers and get rowing.

CHeers

Chris W

2k - just too slow this year to report!!

The decline of the once-mighty Flyers is distressing. Roadrunner is no longer on top of the charts. Bayko has been injured, and some Flyers appear to have disappears from the ranks.

The solution to this is to have Paul H, Emperor of the Nonathlon and a Flyer himself, award substantial Nonathlon bonus points to Flyers. This would be an elegant way to address the obsessive erging of the geriatrics, computer-assisted rowers, Brits, and such.

Tom Rawls

Either way, the AM in first place, kicking the butts of the 20 year olds.

A 10 person per team limit would encourage more teams -- hence more individuals -- to be involved in the team standings.
Once Ranger starts logging his as well, Oarsome should consolidate their position ......We have got some big hitters...carole, Phenomenal , Roy...loads.. .....Lee (must try harder...story of his life! )

There is always the idea of transfers/bribes between teams, maybe signing term contract for the team and then transfer across on the Bosman ruling. Money need not change hands, just use nonathlon poins as currency maybe??

The MAD Team will just let TEAM OARSOME have a bit more glory before we start to add our meters to the board.

And don't use the argument that there are 31 of us, as not all of us log the meters.

Sir Pirate
You only need Tracy to put her metres down and then you will nearly overtake us anyway , she is doing amazing at the moment.

So are the total meters logged by Supercanoa. Let us hope that RowPro works on the internet and the activity in workouts and races goes back to former levels.

The Ancient Mariners are kicking everyone's butts. Is this because they are the only ones who have so much time that can be spent erging?

Cheers,

Paul Flack

The MAD Team are climbling to the top. Tracey Brown, Rob Smith and myself have added are training distances. We are now in 14th place.

Sir Pirate

Is there still only 31 in your team?

I think the fairer way to go is to divide the total by number logging in team. But will that mean the guys with 1 in their team and having done 800k so far jump to the top?
