Hi - I did my 2K last Saturday, but also had to withdraw from the Development Team (my spouse needs me to accompany him to a business event the weekend of the European Open. Found this out a few weeks ago/confirmed that the date of the busness event would not be changed right before I did the piece). Very half-heartedly, I rowed in the 7:30's. ugh.

The Development Team experience was great; the workouts given got me in the best shape inyears. Equalled the best 5K I'd ever done, and was great shape for the Head of the Charles -- and won there (in a boat with Joan Van Blom and Grace Malacrida, also both on the Development Team). Definitely think the workouts and aiming for the erg goal also helped in the Head of the Charles.

Good luck to the team members chosen for Copenhagen & see you at CRASH-B's.
Mary P.

I have been out of town a week, then recovering from a very bad cold/stomach flu. Today I was able to take my 20 minute at 30spm, although I was still feeling rather ill.
20 minute: 2:00.3 @30spm
Followed by 20 minutes rest
and then a 4K at 2:03.1

I will be taking my 2K this Friday
(I have to work my workouts around my coaches demands and the workouts we do on the water as a team)
