Carson Cornell Moore was born at 5:23PM on Monday November 11, 2005. He was 20.5” and 7lbs. 6oz. (That's a lightweight in our household, but he showed up 3 weeks early!)

Mom and baby are doing fine.

It sounds like he showed up early out of consideration for mom, a nice thing for a son to be starting out with....

Either way, you can probably use a nap!

CONGRATULATIONS Bill and family. Glad all is well. Best wishes to all of you as you adjust to having another little family member, which I'm certain will be a breeze based on all of your prior "training".

Congratulations, Bill. 3 kids and a newborn sounds like a lot of fun, and work, for the next few years. Enjoy.

(Something we didn't do with the first one, but know better now). I also got a good night sleep, since we shipped the other 3 to the sister-in-law's in New York who has her 6 kids and is also expecting. (Imagine being pregnant, needing a nap, and having 9 kids in the house! Yikes.

Here he is all cleaned up on his second day.

Somehow I forgot that newborns wake up every 2 hours.

Tomorrow night is a 10k after 3 weeks of marginal training. Just lovely. At least the family will be away for 3 nights. I just need to make sure I get rest before they come back, because my restful days are over...
