What Is The "something Poster" Designation?

What does the term, "500m poster," "30 minute poster" etc mean ?

It usually is a direct way of telling how many posts you've made. Not that I've had many here.

As the distance get bigger it is an indication that: a/ You have no life and - b/ An obsessive compulsive disorder associated with indoor rowing and its equally demented community - George

Its an indication of quantity of posts, NOT quality. Normally the two are inversely proportional.

Okay - Thanks for the input... Consensus seems to be that the term (500m, 30 min, marathon, etc) preceding the word "poster" is a relative indicator of a poster's (person's) activity-level in the specific activity of: writing and displaying messages on this forum. It isn't clear, whether it refers to total "lifetime" quantity or quantity of messages/year or some other period. Perhaps it is analogous to a windsock - not that it indicates direction, but that the windsock also gives a general idea of the briskness of the wind. At least I know that it isn't referring to a person's favorite rankable rowing distance, best time among all distances ranked or something like that, which is what I first assumed, until it labeled me as a "500m poster," though 500m is not my favorite distance because it is way too short. Enjoyment of life is enhanced by a pleasant rowing-induced soreness of muscles. John
