We have a new rower at the Iron Oarsman. He is in his later thirties, married with two children 7 and 8 years old. He is tall, 6'4", and does not carry extra body weight, yet he has diabetes. Today he completed his second workout, 10000 meters. He told me that after the workout on Tuesday morning, he did not need to use his insulin pump! Does anybody else have such a stories?
All the best,

See what he has to say about the whole situation. I would have to say that his experience of winning an Olympic Gold as a diabetic (and all the training that goes with it) would probably be as extreme as it gets in rowing with that condition.
