Let's go MAD!

I made some New Year's resolutions and January was great with the January Virtual Team Challenge and the January Weight-loss challenge. However, I fell out of the boat in February. :(

Jump in here with your plan for March. Stating a goal will help you stick to it! Goals can be for fitness--daily exercise (rowing or other or combinations) or weight loss or healthy eating or ???

We ducks are here to cheer.

PLUS C2 has INSENTIVE for daily moderate rowing of 5000m. Each day a person rows 5000 m, he/she is registered for a drawing for a prize--rowing clothes, heart rate monitors, C2 glasses and other surprises. The drawing will be around noon the next day so log your meters promptly. On random days an extra prize for rowing 10,000 m. (USA & Canada eligable for C2 prizes. ALL ducks are eligible for encouragement!) Hello all Ducks!
I'm in for the MADness too! I'm going to concentrate on rowing at least 5 days a week - if I can stick to that, I'll be so thrilled! Things at work here are going to really heat up, so rowing will hopefully keep me from making a reservation at our local "madhouse"!!
Catherine

I'm being indecisive about my goal. Their goal is 25 5K days in the month, but that would be way more than I've ever done in a month so far. Jan & Feb I did 14 rows each with totals in the mid 80Ks. I think realistically that I should aim for 20 rows during March. That would still be a significant improvement from what I've done so far, and if I maintain my approx 6K/row average, I'll have great monthly total.

I am glad for the company. It is fun. All of us have different goals but no matter what they are we will be working on them together. It is much easier for me to sick to my goals when I know others are sticking to thiers!

I am NOT going to eat fried food in March (I enjoyed fries a few times in Feb!)
I am going to eat a healthy whole grain cereal for breakfast.
I am going to row 5K 6 out of 7 days.
I am going to track everything I eat. I will still have a taste of pie or snack to keep from binging later but buy recording before I eat I can decide if the item I want is worth it. (and worth the time necessary to row it off!)
I hope to lose 4-8 pounds.

Getting back into a regular rowing habit will really help reduce my stress at work too! I did good with the HC and the JVTC but fell out of the boat in February. The good news is that RowPro was released in a new version last week and I have been addicted and having a blast rowing with people around the globe. There is a new really cool broadcast view that makes me look like a sports star! digitalrowing.com

I already got my 5 K in today... how about you??

Susan
