Yeah, I'm computer science, so I'm used to being odd one out (c; (only 50 female CS majors in the entire school last I heard).

Hello Ducks,

I thought that I would like to ressurect this old thread with my last PB of the season. I did 6,000m and got 28:57.5. That put's me at 65% in my age and weight class.
It turned out to be my second best nonathlon score. All my scores are in the 700's. I am determined that next season I want to get a few in the 800's. (I had one at 798 and one at 796). By the way what a great achievement by seat5 to place 19th (last time I checked)!! Way to go! You're an inspiration to us all.

Shannon

Congrats KRed on the new PB! Doesn't that feel great?

I got a new PB on 1,000 metres today. I did it in 4:23.3 and beat my previous best by 4.7 seconds

I made myself a goal of being in the top ten on the Ducks in a Row as far as metres rowed this season. Gee, this isn't turning out to be all that easy with these superwomen cranking out marathons left and right!

You gals are doing great!

Shannon aka Canada Goose

Congrats Canada Goose!!

Thought I'd do a timed 2k today to see what I could do after doing 5k every day and beat my old best time!!

Was 10:07

Now 9:40!
Not bad considering how out of shape I still am!

My first real goal on the erg was to row a sub 10 minute 2k... now I need a new goal

Very exciting

The 5ks are still wearing me out (only been really working since the new season started) so I'll stick to them for now, then work in some longer rows. (I'm gonna have to get cable in my spare room!!)

Great job ladies!

Everyone seems to be off to a great start this season!! Once I get done with these water classes, I'll have to see if I can improve some of my times too. I haven't really worked on that in quite a while.

Keep up the good work!
Buffle

I am so pleased, knocked 1.08 mins of my 5K time this morning to 26.06mins. I looked on the 05 rankings and realised that exactly 1 mth ago ,I was 3 mins slower than I am now.I might still be a lot slower than most of you ,but I am creeping up those rankings. Strange really, as I have never been very competitive before!? I am also aiming to do 20 kms total this week (first time) but life seems to be conspiring against me ,by throwing lots of additional activities at me,so we'll see. Corina
