I am pretty new to exercise so I am not in good shape. BUT don't let that stop you from joining in the fun. Several of us row between 2:34-2:39/500m which many of the more athletic types find to be slow. There have been several rows lately labeled "slow" or "easy" and there have been 2 or 3 going at the slower pace and 3 or so going much faster. It is still fun to row with company.

What time zone are you in? There are several "rows" over the next couple of days that have a person who rows more slowly signed up.

15:00 GMT an hour row
18:30 GMT a 6K (me and at least 2 other people will be rowing at about 2:35/500m)
Tomorrow: 10:45 GMT (me and another person rowing 2:35/500m)
Saturday: 13:30 GMT (Me and another person rowing at 2:30/500m)

I work quite hard to stay at the pace for the whole time. My heart rate was at 151 bpm. So I am out of shape but working on becoming more fit.

So if you have always wanted to give it a try... sign up!

Susan

I need to be a bit careful with my right knee, so I may not even be able to stand the distances. Anyway I am at work when you row today and unfortunately I have plans to visit my boyfriends parents on saturday... I would really like to join you though.

I will try and do a 5k today and see how I do

Take care
Anna
