Hey, I'm new to the ducks in a row so I thought I'd introduce myself. My screename is Daffy (duh!) I am 23 years old. I rowed for 4 years at Rutgers U. sitting 7 and bow, but I cannot really scull (something I'd like to spend the spring working on). I also took a year off of rowing completely to go teach in China but have been keeping in shape and now that i've graduated college I'm finally a lightweight - go figure! I bought a Concept 2 B model for 15 bucks at a garage sale and it seems to be as painful as every other erg so I cannot complain about it not being the newest model. I'm pretty excited to be joining such a great support network!
Thanks for making me feel welcome!

I'm pretty new myself as I just got me C2 the end of Oct and joined the DIAR in mid-Nov. They seem like a great group and I find the virtual teams motivational. We just moved up to 6th place!! I think things must get pretty exciting when the new rowing year starts May 1 and all the teams start from scratch again (or at least I assume that is how it works). There are lots of other nice people on the forum, too, besides the Duck and they always seem to have some encouragement or helpful hint. Keep rowing

Carol (loonylady)
