I can do it the weekend of July 30/31. Also on one of the days of the weekend prior, but I am not sure on which day.

might have to get in on this one. Me and Pirate tied exactly at Evesham, 5:11.5. Time for a rematch maybe.

I don't see it on the RowPro schedule. I don't see Sir Pirate in the line up this weekend either. Do you have a new excuse for missing races Phil?

Cheers,

Paul Flack

PS: I just moved a window air conditioner into my rowing room. Your days of beating me due to the heat are over Phil!

In all seriosness, ambient temperature and humidity makes more of a difference in performance in distances over 5K than slides, erg jacking and just about anything else.

Cheers,

Paul Flack

What is the exact length of a mile as it would be defined on the C2 in meters? Is this 1584 meters? Dumb question, but why not try for a ranked distance?

The mile is an erg race that they do only in England so that they can claim world record in the event.

Cheers,

Paul Flack

Of course if Sir Pirate is really down for the count and is not going to row anymore, then I guess this will never get off of the ground.

jf

I raced a second handicap 10K on Sunday just to race him and he couldn't get up for the starting "ROW". Hopefully he will recover during his vacation from rowing.

Cheers,

Paul Flack
