e-row

Post by [old] DougB » March 13th, 2005, 5:30 pm

Some of us want to test our 2000 meter times (as foolish as it sounds), so I created a 2K race on e-row for next weekend at 1900 GMT. I picked Saturday rather than Sunday because Friday is a better rest day - hopefully that works out for most. Look for Last_Day_Of_Winter_2K on the e-row race server.

At the moment it's Cees, Thomas, and I, and we're looking to row between 6:20 and 6:32. Everyone is welcome, especially anyone within this range to help push us to fast times.

If you're interested, please sign up! I could move the race to Sunday if necessary, but I would want to make sure that's OK with Cees and Thomas before doing so. The time (1900 GMT) will be hard to change, as that's one of the few times that works for all of us.

ok. don't change the time for me. As you an see by my other post that I am much less interested in a 2k at the moment. the last few weeks have been 67k, 77k, 75k, 77k, 87k and 89k plus 2 runs a week (should be 3) plus soccer once a week.

Hi Doug,
I did the last 2k in december. Last 3 months only from 5k to hm, so a 2k does not really fit in. But I do recognize the feeling to try a few pb's at the end of the C2 season. Last month I did the 5k, 10k and hm. Will do the 6k next thursday (March 17) at the digitalrowing server. Current pb = 20:34.4. Then next couple of weeks the 30' en 60' minutes. If anyone wants to join the 30 and 60, please let me know if you prefer a date/time.

Success to Cees, Thomas, you and the other competitors next saturday.

Jaap

Then you can login at the digitalrowing server and still use e-row application software. Did you ever try it? At this moment I also prefer the e-row server because of its stability, but the last race (a hm) at digitalrowing was also stable, after a small setup problem.

Jaap

Do you have to have an account/user name set up for the RowPro server. This is the thing I could never get to work.

Sir Pirate

you can use e-row to register. I register exactly as I do for the e-row server so I don't need to remember two names and two passwords. It will work later for rowpro too.

It worked exactly as with the registration at the e-row server. Like Andy, I also entered the same name and password as for e-row for the same reason.

One more thing: according to digitalrowing, you need to use e-row application software version 4.1.0 (build 115). The e-row version you are using is displayed if you click the Help-about menu in e-row. If you are using e-row version 4.0, like I did before, you can download the 4.1.0 from the e-row section at the concept2.com website. Although it is a beta version it work fine.

Jaap
