"Delete Workout" and "Update Lifetime Metres" - C2 Utility

I'm using the C2 utility, and find it very good - simple and reliable software that gets the job done.

I do have a couple of issues, however:

>> I would like to be able to change "lifetime meters" on the card via the utility. Currently this is only
>> possible through the erg's performance monitor.

>> I would also like to be able to delete workouts via the utility. This functionality is available on the
>> performance monitors, but not via the utility.

If these items could be considered as updates in the next utility release, that would be much appreciated.

You can't change lifetime metres that needs new function. The file structure of the logcard and *.LCB files isn't published so it isn't easy to do with a hex editor.

You can delete historic workouts from a logcard with an existing option in the Utility. Maintain Users ==> Erase Workouts.

It will need new function to allow that workout cleanup to be done with the files on a USB stick.

Thanks Citroen,

Yes, an edit of the lifetime metres would be a new function for the utility. It would be useful given that I see myself using a combination of both logcard (when I row with my crew at our studio on the studio's PM3 equipped machines) and a USB stick on my new machine (that is arriving on the 29th). Of course, one can edit lifetime metres on the performance monitors themselves, but not using the utility. I like to keep the lifetime metres accurate, as I find it motivational.

As for the erase workouts feature, it is there on the utility, but you can only erase workouts before a certain date. What would be better is if you could erase them by choosing them individually, as you can do on the monitor.

Scott at Concept 2 shared a beta release of the new utility with me, and it incorporates all the necessary basic functionality for the USB sticks.

Thanks for the feedback.
