PM4 Calorie Count

It would be great if the PM4 would count calories for rest intervals also. It counts meters, so why not calories?

Use a HR monitor, it won't be accurate in any way but it'll be less inaccurate than the calorie count on a PM2/PM3 or PM4.
The formula used by the Concept 2 monitors is well documented and largely useless (unless you weigh 80Kg and have a 25% body efficiency and use 300 (k)cals just for going up and down the slide).

Bob S., you're everywhere! I have a Garmin heart rate belt I use, so how does that translate into calories?

Presumably because the number would be insignificant with respect to the large numbers generated during fast intervals, and would in any case be unreal, thanks to the 300 kCal/h add-in.
Just Row will show it if really interested.
