Sometimes I get into the "zone" when rowing or cycling and miss the end of an interval. Would like to have a "beep" sound at the end of Interval and Rest periods to alert me to the transition. Or maybe even a "beep, beep, beep" 3-second countdown. I haven't been able to find that option anywhere, so hope it can easily added through the ErgData app which has access to a phone/tablet for audio output via a speaker or Bluetooth headset.

There's no sound producing device (not even a piezo beeper) on your PM3/PM4/PM5 so it's not possible.

So you'd be fully reliant on having the beep emit from your phone (which Ergdata doesn't do right now). So write an email to info@concept2.com and ask them to add an optional beep to Ergdata (it needs to be optional as I don't want that feature).
