PM5 workout to Concept2 Logbook

Post by RowFLA » June 28th, 2022, 6:02 pm

Hi,
Is there a way to sync the (ErgZone) workout logged on my PM5 directly to the concept 2 logbook?
I used ErgZone to do a workout and I have the workout logged into the Concept2 standings but the workout does not appear in my latest workouts log.
How to I transfer the ErgZone workout from my device to my concept 2 logbook?
I know on Ergdata I just hit the sync button and that takes the info from my device and stores it to my personal concept2 logbook.

I just got the PM5 retrofit Kit so it’s still pretty new to me.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
It appears like my ergData got upgraded and no longer 'sync' with the C2 online log book.

I'm not sure how this is an enhancement, but I used this feature a ton. This makes it easy to keep my logbook accurate.

Any other apps do the 'sync' or button to sync?
Regards,
Craig

Ok, I figured this out ....

If I have USB inserted in PM5, then Android App does not 'upload' my rowing sessions to C2 Online log book.

If i remove USB from PM5, the Android App uploads my rowing sessions to C2 Online log book.

this is not real good Application logic in the Android App ...

If Online credentials were supplied to Android App, *ALWAYS* upload the rowing sessions to C2 Online log book.

Sorry, I'm a Software Engineer that develops Application ...

Did you upgrade the firmware to the latest version?

The App was recently updated automatically on my android phone and now the bale does not work at all.
Bluetooth works fine and is a little easier to switch Bluetooth from the Bike to the rower.
The cable connection will no longer automatically connect and i cannot even find a way to manually connect.
The firmware is up to date on both machines.

I use Bluetooth for me headset separately and it is a bit cumbersome to do all the switching hence the cable.

Any thoughts?

They don't appear as the PM5 does not log stroke by stroke data. It's only available through ergdata usage (or similar apps, which can connect to logbook).
