I’d like to see GymKit compatibility added to later PM5’s that have an NFC chip. Apple Watch users could then pair their watches with the PM5 and then the two devices could sync data during a workout. For example, your heart rate from your watch would be sent to the PM5 and distance rowed would be sent to your watch.

Is there any development of a new iOS app and WatchOS app that can enable recording indoor rowing session from our PM5 rowing machines ?

I also would like that functionality. It would be nice not to need my phone, just my AppleWatch 3, which records my heart rate accurately during rowing workouts.

I second the request. GymKit support will be greatly appreciated.
For me, it would be re reason to upgrade from my PM3 to a gymkit compatible PM.

Agree, direct Concept2 performance monitor support for Apple Watch would be awesome! In the meantime I am using iOS Heart Graph app ($2.99). My Apple Watch heart rate is mirrored on my iPhone, which I place in a cradle above the PM5. I can then train to heart rate. The app nicely displays live HR in your personal zones.
