I really like this feature. What I noticed:

When I do not complete a selected WO (row 3k out of 5k for example), the WO gets pushed using ErgData to the C2Log but does not get synced to Garmin - is that a feature or a bug? Also are there any plans to push split information to GarminConnect?

Probably a bug. You can test by downloading the .FIT file from Logbook and manually import to Garmin Connect.

One question though is about laps... for interval training, it would be fantastic to have the data available for the individual laps in Garmin Connect. Is this something that is scheduled?
I am reviving this old thread, because there seems to be new development:

I just noticed in Golden Cheetah that somewhere around the 1st of February, Concept2 started including lap information in the .fit files generated by the C2 online logbook.

Unfortunately, Garmin Connect is right now under maintenance, so I have not yet been able to verify that this is also visible in the sessions which are auto synced to Garmin Connect.

Turned out that this is one step forward and two steps backwards.

Two out of three sessions haven't synchronized from the C2 logbook to Garmin Connect. I don't know if it is related to the new lap information in the .fit files. (The lap information was originally removed from C2's files because they sometimes contained empty laps, which Garmin Connect couldn't cope with.)

For the one session which had synchronized, Garmin Connect did show the splits. However, almost all fields in the split information are showing 0.

Interesting. I saw the splits too but I assumed that they came from KREW for Android which I'm now using instead of ErgData. I think the not sync problem is due to Garmin Connect being down recently. You could test by manually uploading the .FIT file. If it uploads, then the site was offline when the sync was being attempted. If the upload fails then it's incompatibility in the .FIT file.

Had already forgot about this thread. Yes, it was a short glitch during the time where GC was down.

Anyway, what is KREW? Google is not of much help.

Meet KREW, it's currently in development however they are very good at listening to feedback and adding what people want. Once the USB support is added I think it will be far better that Ergdata. I just like how I can save my favorite workouts and it can program the PM for me. https://www.krew.fit

It's made by the LiveRowing people, but developed independently, for Android. It has programmable workouts.

The beta group is here on Facebook.

Edit: oops, ex1580 beat me to it. Didn't even know they have a web page now.

Hm, a pretty web site, but not much information about what you get if you invest the time in it. But I guess I have two experts here. So here goes:

Did I understand you correctly - it only works with wireless connections to the PM, not cable?

Can it upload to the online C2 logbook?

Will the uploads include per stroke metrics (or per second)?

Will the uploads have status "Verified" in online C2 logbook?

I am not sure about the per stroke metrics (because I haven't checked) but yes to everything else.

Ok, thanks.

I will have to wait until I get a PM5, or KREW gets USB support.

As I understand it the USB feature is highly requested and should happen around the time it comes out of beta. I've got my fingers crossed for sooner though.

Yeah, I'm hoping for cable connectivity as well. Bluetooth is just not that stable, and they've had to deal with two different PM5's. Anyway, KREW has its own online history database (can race past workouts) and can also sync to C2 and Strava. The data uploaded to C2 Logbook is per stroke, to Strava is per 500ms.

I've tried sync C2logbook->Garmin Connect.
Work fine at first. I can see a lot of data in garmin webinterface.
But when i look at it on my GC-App on the mobile, a lot of data is missing.
Does anyone know how to get correct sync, that displays all data on both Web and Mobile?

Talked to Garmin, and they say it has something to do with the data-format, how do I fix this?
