Anyone else encounter a problem with ver. 6.2? When I downloaded and tried to install, I got a message that there was an error 1935 and the install would be aborted and my computer returned to its prior state. Unfortunately, the prior state did not include re-installing ver. 6.1 which had been working fine.

I am using a Dell laptop with 32 bit Vista.

Thanks for any advice. Anyone know here I can find ver. 6.1?

p.s. I e-mailed Concept2 customer service on Friday but haven't heard back.

Lots of hits on the web relating to that error code, you should try posting the full text of the message beyond just 1935.

I took a guess at the URL for 6.10 and came up with:
http://software.concept2.com/logcard/Lo ... tup610.exe which appears to work.

Thanks, Mike. Tried to reinstall, and got the same error message, which reads:
Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly Microsoft.VC80.CRT, type =
'win32",version "8.0.5072 7.42" public KeyToken= "1fc8b3b9a1e8e3b", processor architecture ="x86" Please refer to Help and Suppo...

Which is why my next computer will not run windows! Blech. How frustrating. I'll Google it so see if anything shows up.

Yeah, google searches for the error seem to trace back to this credible looking page:
http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Window ... 21033.mspx

Like you said, only on Windows can you corrupt something that's designed to recover from errors.

Thanks for the link. I'll see if it does any good when I get home tonight.
