I have two computers. On one of them I cannot update the online log.
The program indicates that I do not have an internet connection. It can launch the online Concept2 log, which works fine. When I look at network connections, internet connection, it looks fine. What else should I try.

I seem to have the same problem (with an Omni Card reader) - at work on XP Pro the Card reader won't connect to Concept2 but at home (on Vista) it works really well - Clever!
Have you resolved the problem yet? I've emailed the help-desk but no answer as yet.

Both the Onmi card on one computer and the PM4 on the other are connecting and updating the log. Both machines are running XP SP2.

Feature request: turn on QtNetworkProxy support

I was going to start a new thread about this, but thought I should try reading through the forums first (I've been away from the forums for quite a while now), and this seems like a good place to drop it.

My guess is that the fact that it works differently from home vs work is not about the version of Windows that you use, but rather that you have a proxy at work that external network traffic has to go through.

Luckily, since the LogBook is built on Qt, it should be pretty easy to leverage the QtNetworkProxy support to just turn it on with a few lines of code. Scott, if adding an extra GUI pane to specify the proxy settings is (understandably) too much, would it be possible to just grab the settings from an environment variable or a file? That should keep the changes down to a handful of lines, if I'm reading the QtNetwork docs right.

This is something that I had just been ignoring before, because it only affected whether or not I could get automatic updates of the LogCard Utility or the PM3 firmware, but now that I have v6.0, I'm anxious to play with the LogBook upload feature. Unfortunately, I can't (yet) since the machine lives inside a proxied environment.

Upgrade the drivers for your OmniKey Cardman 3121 reader. http://omnikey.aaitg.com/index.php?id=69

Then check that you're not blocking access to the internet with the Windows firewall (or other firewall). That will solve any problems you have running the V6.0 LCU.
