PM3 V97 variable intervals anomaly

Post by Citroen » September 21st, 2006, 4:19 am

Model D, PM3 with V97 firmware.

I set-up the following variable intervals
  1. 3000m 4:00r 0:00.0 pace boat
  2. 2500m 4:00r 0:00.0 pace boat
  3. 2000m 0:00r 0:00.0 pace boat
I set off a bit briskly for the 3K and completed it. Rested 4mins. Then set off on the 2500m and gave up after 373m.

The aborted interval doesn't show up on the logcard. BUT, the metres from it were added to my lifetime total on the logcard.

Here's the rows from the spread sheet:

Code: Select all

10:50.9	3000	31	179 01:48.4	1243	274
				10:50.9	3000	31	179	01:48.4	1243	274
											04:00.0	10	107
I can send an *.lcb if you need it.

I've re-created this error on a different set of variable intervals.

Rowing variable intervals; 4*1K 5:00r and stopping with ~700m to go during the fourth interval.

Another symptom of this anomaly; is that this generates a LogCard error when I read the card with my OmniKey smartcard reader and LCU V4.04.
