Concept2 Utility not working on Mac OS X 10.9.4

A few months ago (sometime in May) after a system update the OS X Concept2 Utility (6.55) stopped recognizing my Athena card reader. A fellow team member complained about it also so I figured it would be fixed shortly and started using a Windows VM to upload rows from my card. Since I haven't seen it mentioned here or fixed meanwhile I finally thought I should make a post about it.

Try re-installing the Athena drivers.
